FIrLS will be used in both experimental and modeling studies to advance our understanding of the chemistry of the plasma in a tubular reactor. We describe a double-beam laser system used for the simultaneous detection of trace gases (CO(2), CH(4) and NH(3)) and temperature in a plasma flow reactor in a multichannel, high-sensitivity, fiber-optic, intracavity laser spectroscopy (FIrLS) system.
